Privacy Policy

1. Data collection by the developer

Shiori Diary does not send or collect your diary text, photos, audio, location, mood, or settings on a developer or third-party server. The app has no account registration, advertising, behavioral tracking, or developer analytics.

2. Information stored on your device

Diary text, photos, audio, location, mood, and settings are stored locally on your device. You can delete individual entries or erase all app data from Settings.

Deleting the app normally deletes its local data. Photos copied to the Photos app must be deleted separately from Photos.

3. Access to device features

The app may request Camera access to take photos, Microphone access to record voice entries, Speech Recognition for transcription, Location access to attach your current place and find nearby memories, Photos Add access to save captured images, and Notifications access for reminders. You may change these permissions in iOS Settings.

4. Sharing and tracking

We do not sell or provide your information to third parties, and the app does not track you for advertising.

5. In-app purchases

Feature Pack and auto-renewable subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The app checks purchase entitlement, but the developer does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple’s processing of purchase information.

6. Backup and export

Backup and PDF files are created on your device only when you request them. You choose where to save or share them. The privacy policy of the service you select applies after the file is sent there.

7. Children’s privacy

The app is designed so the developer does not collect information that identifies its users.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. Important changes will be described on this page.
